Such a feature, that would markedly improve default navigation - in addition to adding the gate to gate experience that they've already added - would definitely put FSCaptain in its own category. Go to Bed, Get Up, Start FSX and it will crash with the same problem. I can fix fsx.cfg, have a good flight session. It is supposed to debut in one of their upcoming updates: Originally posted by Cap Golf Bravo: K, ill try, but Ive edited 1 entry of the FSX config, tested, went back to unedit it, then done some 4-5 flight before the crash began happening. which would begin to put their (exclusive) FMC, or FCDU - as they call it. However, the feature that may put FSCaptain over the top, could potentially be their prospective, "Waypoint Advancer,". It feels slightly more rewarding - to know how well one is doing *while* in flight, and not just after. as a percentage value, updated throughout the flight. with the ability to continuously see how satisfied, or how anxious the passengers are. as they are both essential addons to FSX.Īs yet, I still put the overall experience of FSPassengers slightly ahead. I personally am looking forward to judging them side by side. For PMDGs and Aerosofts products, I have configured FSPassengers so, that I will be using an external payload and fuel manager. However, FSCaption (so aptly named) is more geared towards the grading of a Captain's proficiency as a knowledgeable flight planner, and a pilot, rather than just how often the crew serves drinks. For default FSX aircraft I use FSPassengers dialog. and, I can attest for its similarities to FSPassengers.
